PolarStar HPA Dual Regulator Air Rig:
This custom air rig is hand built by PolarStar with components hand picked from over three different manufactures to give your PR-15 the best possible performance. It uses a AKA SST first stage and SMC ARX20 second stage regulator which not only allows the rifle to operate at the highest possible cyclic rate but the secondary SMC ARX20 regulator limits your air output to 120psi. to help safeguard your rifle from over-pressurizing. This rig also features the brand new PolarStar low profile UFA which is the smallest in the industry.
The PolarStar air rigs are specifically built to be concealed inside of a hydration backpack. They are designed with a straight line that is contained within the pack unlike the exterior coiled line often seen with remote systems. It is designed so the line can exit the pack along the strap just like your hydration hose and then hangs at the pivot point in the center of your chest. The air line is even able to use the same neoprene covers that your hydration hose uses so the line just blends into the rest of your gear. We have given you a longer section of line from the secondary SMC reg to the rifle than is typically needed with most slings. This allows you to trim the length of the to best fit your needs.

Please note: Unlike our past rig you do not have to worry about exceeding a certain pressure range on the first stage regulator. The second stage SMC ARX20 regulator now used can withstand up to 290 psi which is over the maximum output pressure of the first stage AKA SST regulator which produces an average of 160-170 psi. PolarStar recommends running the first stage regulator at its maximum pressure for the best recharge rate.
If you decide to customize your rig and are required to trim the tubing for the perfect fit please be sure to use a new razor blade and press straight down with the tubing on a hard surface. Do not use scissors or anything with a pincer movement as they can deform the line. For best performance, the line running from the first stage to the second stage regulator should not be less than 4 feet. In this area, a longer line is better. The line running from the second stage regulator to the rifle should not be more than 3 feet. In this area, the shorter the line the better.
